As well as his impressive formal qualifications, his enthusiasm and interpersonal skills have made him immensely popular with both students and staff. Patrick speaks four languages and, due to his rich life history, he is particularly well equipped to operate most successfully in our increasingly globalised and multicultural world.
He has designed, written, coordinated and lectured not only new subjects but also ‘pioneered’ entire new programs in different universities and college in Australia, the United States and India. He has exhibited his works (paintings, drawings & photographs) and has been invited to deliver guest lectures in universities and conferences around the world. As if that was not enough, he also managed a ‘One-Man-School’ with a nomadic tribe in Northern Chad (Africa) for two years and owned a restaurant in Australia.
Throughout his career Patrick has consistently endeavoured to foster supportive educational environments which encourage learning and promote the development of skills and self-actualisation. Patrick is an easily accessible and passionate educator who is always eager to share generously his encyclopaedic knowledge and expertise.
Patrick has also been conferred as an Associate Professor by Raffles University in Singapore.
Patrick always promotes a climate of mutual respect, enthusiasm and tolerance in a stimulating and supportive environment. He encourages critical reflection, self-evaluation, self-confidence and enthusiastic life-long commitment to learning in dynamic, open-minded and scholarly environments.
In his spare time he plays Spanish guitar and juggles with chainsaws.
