Program Director, Commerce
Evaristo joined RCDC as the Program Director, Commerce from an academic and industry background stretching over 20 years. As Head of School, Commerce, Evaristo is responsible for the academic leadership for RCDC's Master of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce and vocational business courses.
That fellowship took him to Ohio State University where he completed a Masters degree in Industrial-Organisational Psychology. He then rejoined the University of Zambia as an academic and industry Management Consultant.
He moved to Australia during the early 1990’s where he briefly worked as a Management Consultant before taking up residence in New Zealand. In New Zealand, Evaristo played a major role in the curriculum development and teaching of the Manakau Institute of Technology newly introduced Bachelor of Business degree program, while simultaneously leading a major organizational change project at South Auckland Health.
Evaristo spent four years (2003-2007) in the Victorian public service while completing his PhD in Management at Victoria University. He brings to RCDC a wealth of expertise in curriculum development, higher education teaching, research and organisational consultancy.
He is a keen angler and avid Sunday market “tourist” His message to students: “This is a defining period in your adult lives, enjoy the RCDC experience, enjoy the journey, and strive to bring out your best.. Have a sense of community and place a premium on all your relations with each other and your place in the RCDC family”.
